Year 1887 portrait of Emperor FJI and St. Barbara's Church
In the 1880s, mining in the Rejský belt encountered silver ore. Part of it (16 wagons) was sent to Příbrami for processing. Thanks to MUDr. In 1887, the Viennese mint minted František Stáně's gold coin with a portrait of the monarch and the church of St. Barbara. 300 + 200 minted, making this double gold coin now a collector's rarity
However, Kutná Hora achieved its greatest fame only at the beginning of the 20th century. On June 21, 1906, Emperor and King Francis Joseph I stopped briefly in Kutná Hora on his way to Liberec. He spent only 103 (or 106) minutes here, during which he completed a ceremonial welcome, a tour of the former royal mint in Vlašské dvor and the church of St. Barbara. The Minister for Czech Affairs JUDr. had great credit for this rare visit. Bedřich Pacák, who ran his law office in Kutná Hora for many years.
