Josefův Důl is located in the heart of the Jizera Mountains in the picturesque valley of the Kamenice River.

In 1920, on the sixtieth birthday of the teacher and writer Gustav Leutelt, a monument was erected to him. Apparently they used a granite monolith  from the abolished  monument of Emperor FJI. In 1994, it was reconstructed by the Leutelt company.

It can be seen from the photos that this is one monolith, this time with a commemorative plaque.
